Bitcoin belongs to the internet.

But appearing in a currency selector does not make Bitcoin an independent economy.

An economy needs more than sending money from A to B. It needs savings, credit, financing, risk markets and capital formation.

Stablecoins are already good internet payment rails. Bitcoin does not need to fight that battle (yet).

The harder challenge is capital formation that never routes back through a nation-state's financial system.

Bitcoin has established independent money.

Now it needs independent markets.

Yes, this is a real thing we do. It's called "Chant a repondre" which means "Response song". It originates from Bretagne and generally from sailors of North Western France at the time of the glorious colonization of the American continent.

In New France, it became popular in logging camps where it was used to keep the rhythm when sawing trees, trekking through the unforgiving wilderness and to maintain morale in the isolated camps where men often spend half a year in the remote wilderness. A lot of our folk traditions originate from the absolute chads that built our country first by trapping and hunting with our native allies, and later by asserting our dominion over nature by clearing the forests, producing timber and establishing the farmland that today feeds North America.

Quebec, unlike Canada, is not a post-national meltingpot of global cultures. We are culturally and ethnically bonded by our common French ancestry. We are not going away. Our difference is our strength!
