Bucket list is officially achieved! I finally got to meet in person, two of my biggest heroes. @PeterDiamandis and Ray Kurzweil.

In 2011 I watched @TranscendentMan produced by Barry Ptolemy. The movie struck Accord and set me in a completely different direction.

I bought https://t.co/Swio3HZkPO knowing one day I would do something with it. And it finally felt appropriate to write the book as a thank you to all of the builders.

These are men who have stood in the face of criticism and scoffers for years, believing that what they could see in the future was possible.

I finally got to write the book. I'm so thankful for these builders. I come from the church, and so many of my friends give no credit toward the faith that these men have walked in.

I don't know if anyone will ever read my book. I don't really care. @elonmusk says that sometimes you just have to do what feels right regardless. And this was the right thing to do.

I dedicated the book to Peter, Ray, Barry, and Elon specifically. I know it's cheesy. I know I don't have influence. But I don't care. I'm doing it anyway because the things in this book no one talks about.

There's so much in the Bible. I believe that talk about where we're heading in the future. And after 15 years of studying scripture. I'm so thankful to have met at least a couple of my heroes And be able to give them a copy.

I've looked at this for years and years. I bought https://t.co/Swio3HZkPO in In 2011 and for 15 years wrestled with the tension of what we will need to do as believers.

We are only at the beginning right now. The AI will continue to get stronger and stronger.

And yes there will be a temptation to worship it. But is the AI God? Of course not.

We know that as believers.

My Hope is that the seed is in the machine and will reproduce itself mind to mind like leven through the whole lump of dough.

@EmpMinistry @FreeUsFromDNC It's not that I don't like studying the word, I just don't really get into the scholarly side of things. The classification of different thought, processes, etc., or different theologies whatever you call it.

So when it comes to conventional atonement instead of penal substitutionary, atonement, etc., my eyes kind of glaze over. High brow, theology is really not where I maintain my headspace.

Yeah perhaps. For sure it has its trainers. But keep in mind it also has the word of God in it.

Fire burnt down a lot of houses until we learn to put constraints around it.

At which point we put it into a cylinder and extracted an awful lot of power out of it.

In the same way I think over time. Perhaps the machines will help us understand the word of God more clearly.

In the situation where there are multiple different biases, I would think one is more aligned with the spirit of Christ. And my hope would be that these machines would be able to point us toward the one that's most aligned with God's word.
