Some takeaways from the Lakers- Clippers game:
-One of Luka Dončić's worst performances for LA but we still won. Says something about the high character our guys have. We officially have a turnover problem if Luka is getting a turnover double double (11).
-Austin Reaves was sensational. Near 30-pt double double (28 points and 9 assists). Needs to cut down on the turnovers, had 6 on the night.
- Walker Kessler was our best player on the night. He's now 22-of-26 from the field this season. He had 9 stocks! If only he had 3 lungs so he can play all 48 minutes.
-Ziaire Williams is our fourth starter moving forward. Lock that in.
-Matisse Thybulle was a difference maker with his ability to make plays on the defensive end. We have Alex Caruso at home. He and Ziaire have 3 stocks each.
-Quentin Grimes was our sparkplug off the bench as Sexton played only 14 minutes in his return from injury.
-There's healthy competition in the squad in the wing position. Laravia didn't even play and we haven't yet seen Cameron Carr and Adou Thiero this season so competition is fierce.
-We have a backup big problem that will force JJ to rely on Mamu at the 5 and other small ball lineups. At least until a trade is made.
-Redick's lineups are much better than last season. It could be that injuries are forcing his hand but so far so good.
