Sleep Myth!! Babies should nap in a light room during the day. Nope - Darkness helps us to sleep, fact. Help your baby nap by creating a dark environment, just like at bedtime.
At 32 weeks, your baby sleeps 90 to 95 per cent of the day. π΄ Some of these hours are spent in deep sleep, some in REM sleep, and some in an indeterminate state.

Seems like such an innocent question, doesn't it? One that generally doesn't mean any harm BUT there are so many reasons why it can make women feel additional pressure, sadness, grief, anger, frustration etc.
Although babies spend the majority of their time sleeping in their initial months, it doesnβt mean that they automatically know how to fall asleep. They need you to teach them the difference between day and night and when is good time to go to bed. π

Turning off electronics, ending vigorous playtime and putting away stimulating toys about 30 minutes before bedtime is recommended, and taking soothing baths or showers are some nice ways to transition to βsleepy time.β π΄
