@Flat2VR@Kotaku@RealWormSlayer As I was reading this article, I couldn't stop nodding my head in agreement. It captures my thoughts exactly! Well done, devs, and also... Great work by the author of the article!
@_Arkanian@Flat2VR None of the other ports (HL1, Quake, Quake 2,RTCW, Doom, Doom 3) have had any changes to graphics, just adding VR support and game mechanics. I assume the same will be true for these upcoming games. That said, I don't think they need graphics updates at all. (I'm 40)
@SadlyItsBradley As somebody who gets to play a *lot* of VR games, I have to say that this is the one I'm most excited for, by a long shot. Can't wait!
@romero Thank you for teaching us, and respect to you for honoring these traditions. BTW, thank you for inspiring me to get into engineering. DOOM's modding tools were my gateway into coding and put me on a 27 year path that landed me at Meta/Oculus, full circle to working under Carmack!
@vr_oasis I had LASIK last year. Recovery was pretty rough for about 5 weeks and I avoided VR until I recovered, but eventually had 20/20 vision and zero issues with VR. Highly recommended.
