As President, I would read 10 letters a day sent to me by ordinary Americans. At the Obama Presidential Center, we’ll have some of the letters I read — and responded to — every night. I still get emotional reading them, and it’s one of my favorite exhibits.
I truly admire a woman who can let people be wrong about them and stay unbothered. No explaining, no arguing, no trying to prove a point. Just peace, quiet, and leveling up. That’s real power.
Hate to admit it but they were right— you kind of do need to disappear, lock in like crazy, raise your standards, and refuse to lower them to get your dream life.
Whatever you do, make sure you end up with a kind partner. There will be days when love will not be enough but a kind person is a kind person regardless.

Clean the house. “I haven’t seen you in a while.” Doctors appoinment. Hair appoinment. Nail appointment. RENT. WAR! GOVERNMENT! POLITICS! THE PRESIDENT!!
My therapist told me, “Women who grew up in broken and dysfunctional homes don’t always have big dreams. They only dream of having a home no one can take away and a person who won’t abandon them.”
I love men that are aware of how emotional women can be, a man that is soft and gentle towards you emotionally, gives you reassurance without having to make you feel any guilt for overthinking, those men are top tier.
I admire women who let people be wrong about them. No correcting, no arguing, no proving anything, just peace, silence, and growth. That’s how you really win.
i honestly think the most beautiful kind of love is when someone is sure about you, no mixed signals, no confusion, just consistency, effort, and a feeling that they truly want you in their life.
