Travelling from Edinburgh to Liverpool for @MrPaulSimpson1 book event in Liverpool. Then, back up to Glasgow tomorrow for Joel Gion's (#BrianJonestownMassacre) book event in Glasgow. Thoroughly looking forward to both. Paul's book is a beauty; looking forward to reading Joel's.

I've refused to frame it until I got it signed - decided to make the effort yesterday and hung around outside for a while before the doors opened.🙂

I've noticed a lot of fellow shoegazers tend to follow Slowdive during their UK tours, which I'm always very envious of. I saw them in Glasgow last year - they get better every time I see them.

Usually the way at the Liquid Rooms when a popular artist is playing there. I will keep a close eye on Twitter when I next see Slowdive! I think we've followed each other on here for years via the @IndieOver40.

@GrantMcPheeFilm Lovely. I remember taping the John Peel-narrated episode of Rock Family Trees about the 'New Merseybeat' in around '95 - I watched it many times. Some wonderful bands came out of that scene.
