@Jacobtheclipper Exactly. Why is a 7β4 guy taking a 20 foot jumper when he should be driving the basket and in the paint. Itβs what makes basketball unwatchable these days.
Heard my friend @kyler416 on his podcast ask about Victor Scott II's ranks in this category.
Among 99 left-handed hitters with at least 700 PA since the start of the 2024 season, Scott ranks:
97th in BA
98th in OBP
Last in SLG
Last in wRC+
90th in fWAR

@DaShawnWSOC9@wsoctv@HighSchoolOT Mallard Creek shouldnβt have needed the appeal in the first place, but I am glad it got resolved. Congratulations on winning the race and the state championship.
@RCorySmith Same thing as Monte Harrison. He played for the Angels and Brewers, quit baseball and played football at Arkansas. They are going to let him play.
This all posturing at this point, there is no way that the players are losing $500 million dollars on the cap and floor. How many teams and how much money would need to be spent to get all 30 teams up to $170 million dollar payroll?
MLBPA interim executive director Bruce Meyer says that the players would actually be taking a $500 million paycut if they accepted MLB's salary cap proposal, and reiterated that they will never agree to a salary cap.
@eden72@KareemSSN@therealgufeball His average is back down around .200 and he isnβt hitting for any power. Given how thin the Cardinals lineup is after Herrera, Burleson, and Walker, I am surprised that teams are still pitching to Walker at this point.
