Finally figured out the issue. I couldn't save the model from FModel because I had downloaded a mapping file from a SRC modding Discord that was for a different game. I got the correct one now thanks to a YouTuber called Saitsu. I can finally get Leon into SRC!!!🙌🎉

Having a very hard time with modding. There is no single tutorial for modding SRC, but several and they're just bits and pieces of the whole process. If anyone would be so kind as to tell me how I open the .uassets for models, I would be incredibly grateful. Details below.

I do realize that hate comments are a thing especially as you grow, but that's a given. That will always happen no matter where you post, what you post, what community you're in because people are jerks. But there are so many wonderful, precious people in the Sonic community.

I honestly don't understand why people say things like "I left the Sonic community because it's so toxic." My entire timeline is filled with nothing but positivity and support. When I find someone being a jerk, I just block them. That's what it's for!

And in case anyone needed to hear it: There are toxic people literally everywhere. Don't blame a platform or a community for being toxic. If you don't want toxicity, stop following and interacting with toxic people. It's truly that simple.

the reason they couldn’t access the .uasset files is because they were game assets. According to the other user, game assets are encrypted. I'd like to know how other people are accomplishing this. I have Leon's model ready and everything.

opened the “Content” folder in Windows Explorer, moved the .uasset files to the “Content” folder, nothing appeared in Unreal Engine. I closed the program and reloaded, still nothing. A user on Reddit had a similar issue. They never found a solution, rather they were told that...
