Had to remind a friend that am 32 years old o…
I will absolutely not go clubbing unless I’m getting paid to be there as a DJ 🎧🎶
Otherwise, my bedtime is fully booked by 10pm 😂🛌
Last night, I was having a WhatsApp conversation with an old time friend and she was complaining about how the times have been quite challenging for her and how she is the one playing father and mother role at the same time.
My heart skipped when she mentioned it that she was the one playing father and mother role at the same time. I asked what happened to her husband and she said he was OK. My initial fear was that maybe her husband was dead, but knowing that he is alive is a relief to me.
Then I asked what happened and she explained that they were separated.
Separated kẹ̀! Kilode o?
Her defence was that he lost his job and couldn't take care of her and her daughter again, and she had to leave when she couldn't bare the suffering anymore. I was disappointed to hear that.
I asked her if he was a provider when he was still OK financially, and she said he was. I asked her if he was physically or emotionally abusive towards her when he was still OK. She said no. Sometimes, I won't just understand how some women reason. Your husband lost his job and couldn't provide for the home as he used to do, and the best thing you think you can do is to leave him. God, I beg o.
There was a time in this my young family life that I was out of job for over one year and my wife was the one who was footing the bills at home. She didn't leave me because I became broke. We thank God for where we are today and we thank God much more for where He is still taking us to.
Younger ladies need to know that it is inevitable for a man at some point in time in his life to have a little moment of trials. What the man needs at that challenging moment is his wife's undiluted support and commitment. We really need to end this pandemic of packing out of the house just because the husband is facing a challenging situation. Dry bones shall rise again.
The Governor is not doing anyone a favor by addressing the hardship Lagosians are facing. It is his responsibility!!!
Most people have been conditioned to accept the barest minimum from Politicians and that is why there is zero accountability to the people.
Sir @jidesanwoolu , the people pay for your nice convoy, your security, accommodation and every other luxury your office affords you.
All of these and many more make things very easy and enjoyable for you such that you never have to deal with the pain and hardship the people suffer. The least you can do is to serve them with utmost respect and total commitment! They don’t deserve anything less!!!
O ni jere! Olofo! Ko ni ragba fun e!
Eleda mi a ba mi fi iya je e!!!
O le ma je nisiyin, igba kugba ti yo je, Eleda mi a fi iya je e!!!
The reason for this beautiful prayers I have sent to you is between us.
I’ll leave it at that.
