The practice has now started its Spring Covid Booster 2025 vaccination campaign.
We are inviting patients aged 75 and over.

There are currently a high number of cases of the winter vomiting bug – Norovirus. The advice for treating this is to Stay Hydrated, Take Paracetemol if required, practice good hand hygiene and stay at home until 2 days after your symptoms have stopped.

The practice has started its Covid Spring Booster 2024 campaign. We are currently inviting patients aged 75 and over to book in for the vaccination.

Measles cases are rising with over twice as many cases confirmed in the first half of 2023 compared to the previous year. Having the MMR vaccine is the best way to be protected. If you've not had one or both of your MMR vaccines phone the practice to book a Nurse appointment.

The surgery will close on the following days over Christmas:

· Monday 25th December

· Tuesday 26th December

· Monday 1st January

The surgery will open as normal on all other working days.

Vaccination UK administer the flu vaccines for local schools in Worcestershire.
For children who don't attend/miss their appointment,
parents can call them directly on either email at [email protected] or call on 0203 343 2400 (Option 4). Catch up clinics can be offered.

Spa Medical Practice is booking patients aged 65 & over in for their Seasonal Flu Vaccine.

The 1st clinic is on Sat 23rd September 2023 then Mon 16th October and Thurs 19th October.

This clinic is the Flu vaccination only - we are awaiting news on the Autumn Covid booster.
