dear fincels 🐟
currently i am banned from livestreaming on youtube
YouTube thinks I am under the age of 16 according to their combination of automated systems and human reviews
phase is working hard to help out and let them know it's not true... but in the meantime there will have to be no streams on youtube, only twitch
i'm really sorry!
I have a genuine question about this so plz don't come into this with an antagonistic mindset. Are there any vtubers who play a character 24/7? (I watch EN and even the corpos don't do that, but people say JP is different) And if so.... How does a just chatting stream go???? 😭😭😭
I tend to do these very long 3-4hr chatting sesh streams and it just feels literally impossible to do that while ignoring every single real life experience or story that I could say to make the chatting interesting. Are there vtubers that make up stories in regard to their fictional character for just chatting streams??
I fully agree that streamers should never go in depth about personal-personal details, but a story from your childhood, or a funny interaction at the grocery store, or a story about a trip you took, these all break the character but they are my favourite thing to listen people chat about. Do the JP vtubers who "keep" the character really never talk about anything like this at all?? /Genq
@W3N_RZ I think that's what drew me in initially. The large fanbase is proof that the sentiment exists, that there is a huge market for 24/7 kayfabe. But realistically that's not something real people are capable of, bar few exceptions. Selling immersion is double edged.
