If they win out there are in, I have zero doubt about that. But them actually winning out, different story. The more realistic view for Duck fans is that they can finish 9-3 and somehow sneak in. The committee could be forgiving of the UCLA loss given backup QB and the erroneous 2pt conversion.
Per the Big Ten from UCLA-Oregon: Big Ten officials incorrectly officiated Oregon’s final two-point conversion attempt.
Following the first attempt that resulted in a personal foul penalty for a facemask on the UCLA defense, the ball was spotted for the second attempt half-the-distance to the goal from the original line of scrimmage of the first attempt. Per rule, the ball should have been spotted half-the-distance to the goal from the end of the run of the first attempt.
I REMEMBER EVERY CONVERSATION‼️ “You’re too small.” “Let me talk to the head coach.” “Come to our elite camp.” “Roster spots are full.” “I’ll get back to you.” MAN, WE HEARD IT ALL‼️ Never stopped working, never lost faith! GOD HAD A DIFFERENT PLAN! 🙏🏾🏈💯 #TrustTheProcess
Oregon’s offense has plenty of issues, but play-calling isn't at the top of the list. Unless you can provide numerous examples of bad calls and counter calls that would have worked better — and prove it — you're just blowing smoke.
The bottom line is that the #GoDucks offensive line is below average, which affects every aspect of the offense. Also, for whatever reason, backup QB Dylan Raiola forgot how to play QB on Saturday after looking amazing at USC.
Next, factor in that he isn't very mobile, which prevents him from evading pressure to create. UCLA knew this and made a point of applying pressure.
There’s not much an OC can do to counter these problems. There aren't magic plays that mitigate poor run blocking, poor pass pro, poor QB play and FOUR fumbles.
At USC, the Ducks ran the ball well against a soft defense, took care of the ball, Raiola was comfortable in the pocket and the Ducks rolled.
Same OC. Also the same OC who called plays for Brock Thomas as he passed for 156 yards in the fourth quarter against the Bruins.
The cause for hope moving forward is that Dante Moore will return and the defense played extremely well on Saturday, all things considered.
With a healthy Moore, Oregon can win every remaining game on its schedule other than at Ohio State. I don't think winning there with this offensive line is even remotely possible.
The St. James spotted the No. 1 team in the country 17 points and still won.
No. 18 The St. James 28, No. 1 St. Frances Academy 20. A week ago the Strivers lost 44-42 at No. 3 IMG on a field goal with two seconds left.
Overtime, you found your fourth team.

@DEWDUCK@NateBish What adjustments could he make when the QB can’t hit the broad side of a barn and throws into double coverage? He can’t prevent the QB from fumbling when he throws it either.
OC is the easy target but sometimes players are at fault plain and simple.
