MICROWAVE OR NO MICROWAVE- WE SHALL SERVE OUR MEN- OF TRADITIONAL INCONVENIENCES VS. MODERN CONVENIENCES : I have watched the video below concerning how some traditional men want to be treated in the modern era. For me, I think there shouldn’t be any noise about it. These are normal things . Whether we use microwaves or not, we shall serve you our men. I know some men think this is hard for us- not at all. When we commit to marriage, we commit to partners with different backgrounds and beliefs, and we vow to love and cherish them. There are wives and husbands who prefer to be treated in certain /special ways. I believe this is fine as long as their demands and expectations align with godly principles, public order, and morality, and do not involve any form of violence & degrading any gender. Even if it means waking up at 3:30 AM to prepare traditional millet bread (Kalo) in a pot over a fire and serving it with smoked cow head meat, washed down by scented water stored and preserved in a traditional pot , with a side dish of katunkuma (small bitter egg plants), I will do it for my man with dedication , love & care. Love comes with both niceties and inconveniences, so you can’t eliminate what you do not like and deal with what is only convenient . Commitment in marriage transcends modern conveniences. We just need to figure out how to embrace both the old ways and the new, as long as it brings joy and comfort to our partners. We are expected to go the extra mile, no matter the circumstances. Just do your part without expecting much in return. To our young people , do not fear entering into marriage because of these things of too much expactations, you will make it. My brother @kyamageroandrew , this should be our topic for the @ManCaveUg this Saturday - we have alot to share. Prepare well and allow some women to talk. 😂😂😂
