If football were won on paper, this would be an easy 3 points for Arsenal.
Arsenal have not lost to Chelsea in the last 9 games, and Chelsea have picked up only 3 points in that run. Arsenal have won 6 out of the previous 9 games and drawn 3.
The last time Chelsea beat Arsenal was 5 years ago, yeah, 5 years ago. Back on August 22, 2021, when they won 2-0. Romelu Lukaku scored the opener in the 15th minute while Reece James added the second in the 35th minute.
That was Chelsea’s first league win of the 2021-22 season and Lukaku’s first goal of his second spell at the club. Since then, Arsenal have dominated Chelsea.
Chelsea are under a new manager now, with a new set of players and quality, and they have started the season so well, picking up all 6 points from 2 games, showcasing brilliant dynamics in attack.
The front 3 of Morgan Rogers, João Pedro and in-form Cole Palmer have produced a total of 5 goals and 4 assists between them in the last two games.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have started brilliantly too, winning both games, scoring 4 goals and conceding none. They only have two players injured and unavailable: William Saliba and Jurrien Timber. Bruno Guimarães will face a late fitness test to see if he can play, as he picked up a knock against Aston Villa.
This game will be won in midfield and defence, which Chelsea are not really stacked at. They've conceded 5 goals in two games while Arsenal are on a consecutive clean sheet.
🚨 MESSI & SUÁREZ INTER MIAMI NUMBERS..
🇦🇷 Messi-81 apps 75 goals 45 assists...🇺🇾 Suárez- 80 apps 42 goals 23 assists
117 goals + 68 assists between them..Messi has clearly had the bigger individual impact, but Suárez has been the perfect partner.
That Barça connection is still cooking in Miami.. Who has been more impactful, Messi or Suárez? @FabrizioRomano
Thought you guys said Mason Mount was back? 😭
Why is he still not in the Manchester United lineup but remains on the injury list? I’m tired of Mase, to be honest. United just have to accept their loss and let him go next summer.
We can’t say we want to compete when some of our key players are always out injured. You might want to argue, but if Matthijs de Ligt and Mason Mount are fit, you know exactly what they can offer.
United just have to cut their losses and let them go if they really want to compete.
Tarkowski and Bruno Fernandes captains their respective teams for the first game of the day.
Andrey Santos benched again and Luke Shaw starts for Man United.
Everton what do you have for us today.
I say Everton 2 - 0 who says no
Here is the TSV Predicted Arsenal XI:
David Raya, undeniably the best goalkeeper in the league (his three consecutive Golden Gloves are proof of that), continues in goal.
Gabriel and Mosquera (if fit) continue their centre-back pairing in defence in the absence of Saliba.

Last season, Everton beat Manchester United at old-trafford 1-0, but United returned the favour in the away game in February, beating Everton by the same number of goals.
Everton have started the season so well, picking up one win and a draw against Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, respectively. A game against Manchester will be a true test of their mentality against a big team this season.
They lost at the same fixture earlier this year and wouldn't want a repeat of that.
Manchester United, on the other hand, reacted to a humiliating opening-game defeat to newly promoted side Hull City by beating another newly promoted side, Ipswich Town, at home in an emphatic 5-2 win, with club captain Bruno Fernandes scoring a hat-trick. United fans will hope his form can continue.
But Everton is a decent side even though they only managed 6 home wins across the Premier League campaign last season and just 23 points secured at their new stadium. They've won 1/1 this season; can they make it 2/2 at home today against Manchester United?
Manchester United had an underwhelming away record last season, winning just 7, drawing 8 and losing 4 games on the road in the Premier League. They've already lost their first away win to a newly promoted side; today's game is against a familiar foe. Can they edge Everton? We will see; the game kicks off at 2:00 PM.
