The pipeline project is in GOP Rep Lauren Boebert's district. Boebert recently challenged Trump to force the release of the Epstein files. Boebert has issued a blistering statement reading, in part, "I sincerely hope this veto has nothing to do with political retribution."

We should all feel a deep sense of grief and outrage at the terrible violence that took place in Utah today. Charlie Kirk's murder is sick and reprehensible, and our thoughts are with his family, children, and loved ones.
I knew Charlie, and I admired his passion and commitment to debate. His senseless murder is a reminder of how important it is for all of us, across the political spectrum, to foster genuine discourse on issues that deeply affect us all without resorting to political violence.
The best way to honor Charlie's memory is to continue his work: engage with each other, across ideology, through spirited discourse. In a democracy, ideas are tested through words and good-faith debate — never through violence.
Honest disagreement makes us stronger; violence only drives us further apart and corrodes the values at the heart of this nation.
Don’t agree with that call on Blankenship but Ball doesn’t lie. Not sure what he’s expected to do here. Just not realistic.
But big play by the Eagles Defense on the following play.
Sisters and brothers, I encourage you to oppose every form of violence and oppression. The world needs this so much! There are many armed conflicts today. Let us continue to pray for peace throughout the entire world. https://t.co/GK5xV9a9zV
Tariffs make it more expensive to do business in America, driving up costs for producers and consumers across the board. In Kentucky, broad-based tariffs could even have long-term consequences right in our backyard. Consider our state’s 69,000 family farms that sell their crops around the globe, or the hardworking Kentuckians who craft 95% of the world’s bourbon, or our automotive and manufacturing industries that rely on global supply chains. Make no mistake: goods made in America will be more expensive to manufacture and, ultimately, for consumers to purchase, with higher broad-based tariffs. At a time when Americans are tightening their belts, we would do well to avoid policies that heap on the pain. We ought to strengthen our friendships abroad, and reinforce our allies as pillars of American prosperity and security.
As I have always warned, tariffs are bad policy, and trade wars with our partners hurt working people most. Tariffs drive up the cost of goods and services. They are a tax on everyday working Americans. Preserving the long-term prosperity of American industry and workers requires working with our allies, not against them. With so much at stake globally, the last thing we need is to pick fights with the very friends with whom we should be working with to protect against China’s predatory and unfair trade practices. That includes what we do on trade.
This is what ardent NYT _conservative_ Bret Stephens is saying.
Anyone with any sense knows that today was an absolute disaster and disgrace for the United States.
Whatever else emerges in time about the Delta crash in Canada, one thing is certain: the importance & amazing professionalism of flight attendants who safely evacuated the plane in a matter of seconds.
Huh I thought he was elected to bring prices down and make our lives better.
Even my Trumpiest neighbors weren’t looking for you to cut cancer research, cut off Head Start, and try to freeze road funding.
If your Christianity causes you to be offended by someone asking the most powerful person in the country to be merciful towards the powerless, then you have deeply, deeply misunderstood the teachings of Jesus Christ.
i recall a team winning the super bowl with 15 players on injured reserve and actually lost another pair of starters during the actual game itself. does anyone remember who it was? can someone help me? hello?
Here are just a few “pro-family” policies Democrats have been trying to pass for decades that Republicans vote against every time they get a chance:
Paid maternity leave
Universal pre-school
Expanded child tax credit
School lunch for poor kids
Protecting access to IVF
There is no place for political violence, including the horrific incident we just witnessed in Pennsylvania.
It is absolutely unacceptable and must be denounced in the strongest terms.
My heart goes out to all the victims and I wish the former President a speedy recovery.
