वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस नेता त्रिप्त राजिंदर सिंह बाजवा, जिन्हें व्यापक रूप से तथाकथित “चन्नी कैंप” का प्रमुख चेहरा माना जाता है, ने मीडिया से बातचीत के दौरान अपने गुट का रुख स्पष्ट किया।

उन्होंने निम्नलिखित बातें कहीं:

• हमने भूपेश बघेल द्वारा बुलाई गई बैठकों का बहिष्कार करने का कोई निर्णय नहीं लिया है।

• यदि हमें बैठक के लिए बुलाया जाता है, तो हम निश्चित रूप से उसमें शामिल होंगे। बैठक से दूर रहने का कोई सवाल नहीं है।

• भूपेश बघेल पार्टी हाईकमान द्वारा नियुक्त प्रभारी हैं और हम उनसे मिलने के लिए चंडीगढ़ जाएंगे।

• हम अपनी सभी चिंताओं और मुद्दों को उनके सामने रखेंगे तथा पार्टी के आंतरिक मंच पर ही सभी विषयों पर चर्चा करेंगे

He made the following points:

No decision has been taken by any of them to boycott the meetings convened by Bhupesh Baghel.

If they are invited, they will definitely attend the meetings. There is no question of staying away.

Bhupesh Baghel is the party high command’s appointed in-charge, and they will travel to Chandigarh to meet him.
