@ESS_EdTech@MarioBojic There’s no context that justifies attacking the kid. Maybe the dad deserved the arrest. Maybe he didn’t. But what context justifies them going after a scared crying child like he’s a criminal? Don’t reply. Just shut the fuck up.
@hotrdmn1@PoliceThePolic1 Cool. Then you’ll be fired and they’ll keep doing the same old shit. Cause that’s how these cunts operate. You’re wasting your time becoming a cop if you aren’t planning on joining their circle jerk.
@Olympian_137@KratosClaire I don’t even watch sports so my own argument wouldn’t even work against me. But my point still stands. This user’s logic essentially means that we should never view anything for entertainment. We should only do things for entertainment.
@doxie_gay The facility eventually upped the demand to 12,500. Bro’s lawyer argued that the facility hosted a pancake and sushi luncheon that day and for all we know he got the food poisoning from the very same people who were now trying to get the money from him. He won.
@louisschubert4@Avabelly__ 100% agree with you. 20% tip is solid and standard. Asking for anything more is crazy. If you’re given more than that’s because they truly wanted to and felt you did great.
@DeadManOnAStick@RealPostFolder I’ve actually met some people who genuinely did this to others. So I’ve seen firsthand that these posts, even if some are fake, aren’t entirely inaccurate or implausible. The double standard is insane. You can’t ask to be respected and validated if you’re gonna invalidate others.
@louisschubert4@Avabelly__ When I worked restaurants I was always paid at least $2 under minimum because they expected I’d be tipped. And most times nobody tipped at all or they’d tip only about 5% or sometimes just a $1. If you’re gonna tip only $1 I’d rather you just not tip. It’s like a slap in the face
@louisschubert4@Avabelly__ They’re definitely not making more than minimum wage. Most restaurants actually pay less than minimum wage because the concept of tipping has been the basis why it’s legal for them to not pay minimum. Government calls it a fair trade. But also the note said $35. It’s actually 46%
@Avabelly__ Restaurants need to stop putting the burden on us to pay their employees. Pay them a living wage. “Oh but after all the business expenses I can’t afford to.” Then you can’t afford to own a business. You don’t see Walmart having people tip. Fuck off. And I pay 20% every time.
@RealPostFolder Doing that invalidates the other person’s sexuality. And if someone were to do that to them then all hell would break loose. So why is it ok for them to do that to someone who’s hetero? And I’m saying all this as a member of the community. But I’ll still catch hate for this.
@RealPostFolder But demanding everyone fit into a certain sexuality only serves to harm the community’s image and goes against what they claim about being for everyone’s freedom of sexuality and gender identity. You can’t force a person who is heterosexual to be pansexual.
@TheJFreakinC 2A exists to defend ourselves against shit like this. I’m very liberal but I’m pro 2A. I believe in making stricter laws so psychos don’t get guns although they’ll still get it illegally. But I also believe every citizen should be able to defend themselves with the same weapons.
@TheJFreakinC People who are anti 2A say you shouldn’t need automatics for anything. You should only need a pistol for home defense or a bolt action for hunting. But this is what 2A was meant for. Our founding fathers fought a tyrannical government with the military weapons of the time.
@omgsidewalks Anyone who wouldn’t take this deal isn’t doing the math. You shouldn’t need to worry about your pension or 401k plans. Just assume you’ll live to 100 because most people don’t and budget yourself for that. You’ll be fine for life. Invest a good chunk in stocks and you’ll be fine.
@omgsidewalks I’m 28 now. I’d budget 10mil for life assuming I live to 100 because I know I won’t and that leaves plenty of wiggle room. That’s 138,888 yearly until I die. I’d take the other 5mil and invest in stocks so I can raise that yearly budget significantly. So yes. Yes I would.
@james_xond I have my great grandpa’s recliner. 60+
My mom has my great aunt’s baptism dress. 84+
And I have my great grandma’s crucifix. 100+
Not sure if this proves or disproves your point but good luck.
