The Strippers!

Founded by Margery Smith and Rita Wagner in 1982 with locations in Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph!

In looking back to 1982, we didn’t really think of furniture refinishing as being a business in a non-traditional field for women. We are proud to have broken the glass ceiling in this industry in this area! Hopefully many women will follow in other non-traditional businesses.

It was the only piece of family history and it was in rough shape. They didn't know if anything could be done. Now look!

Before and after. Out with gold and in with the new! No need to replace furniture you love, just update it. A refresh can make a world of difference. You'll love it!

[The Strippers! @TheStrippers2]

Fun Fact!
The best way to maintain the finish on your furniture is to wipe with a damp cloth and then a dry cloth. You won’t get the waxy build-up that comes from using sprays.

Talk about natural colour!
Beet juice and ox blood were used to stain furniture in the early 1800’s.
We can stain and paint your furniture any colour you can imagine.
