Did you think just because the Knicks won a title this year that @_prezidente would stop being disrespectful? WRONG!
Make a fresh cup of coffee and be cautious of spit takes on your computer, Disrespectful Draft Comparisons 2026 has landed for the EIGHTH season running. Link ⤵️
Those looking to make a roster for the Knicks Twitter Tournament please reach out to our captains and send them footage of you playing ball. 10 spots per roster so there will be additional room with the returning players. I’ll tag them in the tweet below.
New York guard Jose Alvarado is declining his $4.5 million player option and intends to sign a new three-year, $14-plus million deal to return to the Knicks, sources tell ESPN. Knicks made it a priority to retain the NY native who played key role on a historic championship team.
Heard it’s unlikely Mitchell Robinson will be back with Knicks next season. He’s longest tenured Knick but also an unrestricted free agent. Owner James Dolan said he’s unwilling to pay into second apron so running it back with bench is not feasible.
Jalen Brunson got a signed Knicks WWE belt from World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns 🔥
“Congrats Champ! We acknowledge you!!”
Brunson is a huge WWE fan and said he acknowledges his Tribal Chief before every game ☝️
“Kayil is a combo guard with complementary playmaking skills at the next level. He’s a great defender, a good shooter, and an active cutter, screener, and rebounder… In the Knicks’ fluid dribble-pass-shoot offense, he’d be right at home.”
Read the full writeup on Kayil 👇
I’ve scouted Jack Kayil throughout the season, and while the shooting splits may not jump off the page, the numbers don’t tell the full story. He played a major role in helping Alba Berlin win the German league title and has consistently been a winner at every level.

Have a feeling Nickel will get decent rotation minutes next season. Won't be an every day or high minutes guy, but I would bet that he sees the floor similar to how Brown was willing to use Diawara as a rookie.
The rich get richer! The champion Knicks just picked the steal of the 2nd round, 6-7 Tyler Nickel from the greatest school in America. Trust me, he can SHOOT IT. #AnchorDown
Don’t expect the Knicks to stash Jack Kaylil
He committed to Gonzaga before entering the draft, he wouldn’t stick around in the pool if he didn’t plan on coming to the league
Knicks will likely sign him to a scam deal similarly to Dadiet, Diawara, etc
