@WarAware4@Osinttechnical@grok He says “ey baba” which in the context means “ah man” or “there she goes” but the other person exclaims “yeah, it got fucked”
@thevivafrei@JDVance Viva, brother, you and Robert need to calm down on this whole Iran thing. Admittedly majority of political prediction you two made turned out to be true but your objection to this one seems more ideological.
@jmechner@Olympics Ironically, "Prince of Persia" is the most political matter ATM. (i.e. Iranian crown prince may be returned to power after a counter-revolution, costing 100,000 innocent lives in the past 30 days)
@kyleanthony Absolutely love the distinct aesthetics of your work! P.S. Small note on the moving hatch pattern with 1px width, it may create a moiré effect in non-native pixel density (e.g. 1.25x zoomed browser)
@MontgomeryCoMD@fox5dc If it’s the law, why “most” stores then? Besides, weren’t paper bags originally banned to save forests, so now for 10 cents you get look the other way?
You wanna increase taxes, just do it and stop pretending it has anything to do with the environment.
@JohnB18341589@SwiftOnSecurity It works? What “work”? Why do you need to store scroll data tens of times a second, in the registery, of all places. What’s that even for?
@OpsoFacto@SwiftOnSecurity But the much bigger question is, who the hell needs that much data on scrolling? People’s laptops aren’t user research labs.
@OpsoFacto@SwiftOnSecurity If understood correctly, they stored scroll data (telemetry) in the registry. It’s a convenient way to do it, one line of code without setting up a DB. Downside, is bloating the registry & severely slow down the machine. Registry isn’t optimized for that rate of update
@martindonadieu@eastdakota@entemper 40 designers (some very talented ones), 200k+ each, has been working on this since 2021. The new menu does look nice but navigate to any sub page and the design falls apart (e.g. ZT). I’m not sure if this is money well spent.
@tsoding All true. But you still need MSVBVM60.DLL registered and available to run exe’s. Still, it’s only 1 or 2 MB. Electron footprint is 250MB and requires installation.
@Sargon_of_Akkad I wondered why many would show up to their oath ceremony in sweatpants, and then it hit me: for them it was basically a DMV trip, to get a government license to stay. Only a utility, not at honor nor responsibility.
