Su Tissue

Suburban Lawns was a new wave band on I.R.S. Records from Long Beach, CA. Su was a member of the band + disappeared from public life. (We are not Su.)

Is it that the elusive @TheSuTissue of the Suburban Lawns going incognito as a nun in Duke’s Cafe in Bobby Roth’s HEARTBREAKERS? Shot in LA in ‘83/‘84. #HEARTBREAKERS is now on #Bluray via @VinegarSyndrome.

Suburban Lawns presented an alternate reality where you join a cult and light cars on fire, where you dress up like a Manson girl and obliterate your brain on post-punk https://t.co/SWIfMlSgpV

They made one album then disappeared, if only more bands did the same and left us wondering, what if? 30 years out of print, the new wave/punk weirdness is a joy.

USA 1984

Recorded in '82. Released '84

Hypnotic, enigmatic, minimal, magical. Lone solo album put out by Su Tissue of the band Suburban Lawns. This needs to be reissued right now!
