5 countries joined forces to intercept the Iranian missiles and drones before they hit Israel. This tells you that they could have easily prevented the genocide in Gaza but they chose not to.
@demainlaveille Right. To me it’s a cultural problem. We let our best people at work carry things that eventually burn them out. Leaders set the tone. If there’s no safe space, people just suffer in silence until they can leave.
@delivreal Many living this are caught between the feeling of "I want to help, it's important..." And being ill-equipped to raise it up at the cost of being seen as "not a team-player". Voicing this requires courage and cold-hearted thinking to lay out the impact (current and future.)
I used to think that people would recognize when someone is doing 3 people’s jobs. I realized:
1. People don’t
2. It sets unrealistic expectations of what can/should be done by 1 human
3. Instead of applauding your Herculean sweat, you’re blamed across 3 surface areas when things go haywire
4. Most of it is non-promotable work
5. It doesn’t let the org feel the pain
6. You regret not spending more time on your health and with family
BREAKING: Israel is heavily bombing Rafah, where 1.7 million Palestinians are trapped, in the middle of the night, targeting and killing civilians, including children.
The genocide continues.
i was born in this hospital. so was my dad. it predates the creation of the settler colonial state of israel by decades. there are no words to describe what it feels like to see this image… to see your history erased with impunity. shame on this world.
israel is acting like it’s open season on palestinians in full view of the entire world. no one can pretend that they aren’t aware of what’s happening. genocide with our eyes wide open
Gaza is now flooded due to Israel shutting down the sewage system.
We are witnessing yet another phase of this genocide. Starvation, infection, and diseases.
Just because you've stopped talking about it doesn't mean it isn't happening.
