Bitcoin has done a lot of wild things.

But one thing it has never done is break cleanly above a prior cycle’s highest monthly close, spend months building a new cycle above it, and then later close a monthly candle back below that same level.

For this cycle, that level is $61,359.

That was the October 2021 monthly closing high.

BTC threatened it in February, and bulls saved the monthly close at $66,985. Now, with less than a week left in June, it is testing that level again.

A wick below it is one thing. A monthly close back below it is different.

There is always a first time for everything, but from this specific monthly structure perspective, that would be a first in Bitcoin’s history.

We’ll know soon.
