@estherclimate I wish for your type of optimism. I’m happy to see the back of that Slot fraud though. Are you going to see them play at Soldier Field next month?
And what do anti-marriage, anti-men advocates (which majority of the female population belong to now) call those women?
Let’s not pretend that there’s isn’t a heavy anti-men sentiment out there. It’s right before us. Ask your average female friend what their general disposition towards any man is, whether those they know or total stranger. Funny enough, many of them inherited these traumas through parasocial relationships and vicarious living. It’s not even their personal reality.
I know you’re going to say well, men deserve it because they have always been bad. Question is, have women always been good or is good only attributable to women? Or is is just because women’s image has been well protected over the years.
The much of women’s poor behavior we have seen so far has been due to social media. Thanks to many of them who are self-confessing whether deliberately or inadvertently, we at least are able to see that women are as capable of bad behaviors as much as the men they demonize.
That’s not the main point of his commentary. Focus on the fact that if a woman dare perform a similar act for her SO, watch how the whole internet goes up in flames.
Think about that for a minute. I personally disagree that it’s performance but for every other point he made, he’s correct.
Most of the work you will do as a data Engineer revolves around solving critical business problems.
These problems can come from Operations, Finance, Audit, Health and Safety, and virtually any other business function.
For example:
Why does it take so long for trucks to be processed? The business wants to know where the bottleneck is.
The data required to answer such a question is rarely sitting neatly in one table. It is often spread across different systems and silos. There may be no primary key to join the data, so you will need to apply business and operational logic to derive one.
For instance, you may have to use the truck number together with the truck’s time-in to create a composite key that enables you to join multiple datasets accurately.
This is what your daily life as a data professional looks like.
That is why you must be willing to learn the business, understand its processes, and become comfortable developing logical solutions to complex problems. Technical skills are important, but business understanding and problem-solving are what make you valuable.
The ones that were handsomely paid still stole from the businesses entrusted into their care. Instead of you to condemn bad behavior, you’re pointing finger for your useless patriotism.
You bring in Expatriates and pay them in USD, give them a car, driver, chef, maid and house in ikoyi
You will employ Nigerians and pay them peanuts for the same role and expect them to have work ethic and not be preoccupied with survival
My hot take is that people are actually marrying too late.
All things being equal, you should be married by 22/23.
Na economics dey make all these things take long.
And I have a few reasons.
1. If you are supposed to remain a virgin till marriage (for both sexes), then it is very unrealistic to expect someone who started puberty at 14-16, to wait another 15 years.
2. You are supposed to learn your spouse together in marriage. All your firsts, are supposed to be with your spouse. But when you have had too many relationships, it becomes really really hard to unlearn and relearn with your spouse. You become a collection of patterns and habits formed with different people, and your spouse bears the brunt of all those experiences
3. If you plan to have children, the earlier the better. But in terms of health, and in terms of longetvity. Having your first kid at 35, means that you will be attending their uni graduation at 50+, and if you have multiple kids, you might retire before you are done training the. Meanwhile, if you have your last kid at 35, you're esseentially done training your kids by 50+
So yes, marry early if possible
There is nothing you want to do outside marriage that you cannot do inside it.
@AsaduChinaza The entire point of the indefinite ban/pauses is to make any form of immigration to America less attractive. Matter of fact, that’s point of the aggressive immigration reforms- make it more difficult to obtain and people will lose interest.
Women have done things for me. I have similar experience but the scale at which women do it vs men is incomparable.
Women don’t invest in men they’re are not attracted to or interested in whereas because of men’s inherent nature to chase, we invest resources in women more, at scale.
Men invest resources into women they simply want to have sex with and because conversion rate for most men are poor. They tend to cast a wide net while women focus on a single target per time and lock in.
Hope this helps.
@dammiedammie35 Why the need to always stress “Billionare Okoya’s son”? I’m sure by now, he’s popular enough for anyone on social media these days. And no, I’m not holding brief for him. We should just get better at writing.
