Controversy has erupted in the Sea of Thieves community after a player awarded a prestigious role by devs was accused of misconduct with minors
Many members of the game's partner program have quit and called for an explanation from Rare
"I know where you live, I'm coming to r*pe your child". These words replay in my head every time I see anything to do with @seaofthieves. These were the words a cheater spewed in game, that my wife and (then 8 year old) daughter heard. When this happened, I informed the "community managers" (term used VERY loosely) that I would be stepping back for a bit to protect my family. I was then removed while ensuring the online safety of my family.
And would you looky what we have here. A "community manager" protecting a p*do! WITH SCREENSHOTS! The dildo of karma rarely arrives lubed. How delightfully tasteless, yet somehow, eerily expected.
So, @seaofthieves@RareLtd I'll have your apology now, and I'm pretty sure @j0toro's resignation letter would also put quite a few people's minds at ease. You've had hands in creating what is otherwise an amazing game, then promptly screwing your own reputation with this putrid stain. #sackj0toro
@JoeNeate1@ChappersChapman@grumpydoggy for a little more exposure.
