the player wouldn't even recognize the USB, to update the software. What a piece of crap. Now I have to go out and buy another Blu-ray player ( Sony or Panasonic ) to replace my blu-ray player that will only play dvd's.

I will never buy a Philips product again, ended up with a blu-ray player that wont play blu-rays, might have just as well bought a dvd player. Even went through the trouble of finding the site, checking the manuals, downloading the software onto a USB, and still nada
