Absolute scenes. Well chuffed for Zak. He's always had the talent but had to go chasing opportunities and some didn't pay off. This was a real shot at the moon, but tonight the world tilts on its axis. Congratulations @ZakChelli
@Michael93621624@BoxingCymru@luke11campbell@ConorNigel@EddieHearn I half agree, but Luke turned pro late and had to jump up levels quickly. He was asked to clear out the UK first when maybe he'd have been better placed having looks at other styles. Losing the first Mendy fight saw him have to take a tougher route to world titles.
@EthanWilliamTa1@Russ_Hayes@RoversXtra But it must bring some sort of fine or sanction if the ref sends him off fo pushing an official. Even if not on the player, it might go against the club, who'd you then hope would punish the player internally for his awful behaviour. Those scenes are not a good look for Sporting.
@Russ_Hayes@RoversXtra The ref was very calm about all of their behaviour. Calm, and also very lenient. At least the commentators called it right, even saying there was nothing controversial in the game.
@ben_rebs@RoversXtra@_ElliottJackson The unethical and playground way the club has conducted negotiations for the next kit supplier has landed then in a legal dispute. That's the headline here, not that fans are moaning because we didn't get a brand we like. Just further shows the people at the top aren't qualified.
@Toffeewolfie@ExtremeFootbal4 The guy wasn't in the "trenches". He played football. He played it on the shoulder of the last defender and scored loads of goals. That's a weird thing to go to the trouble of tweeting, to be honest.
@dannykellywords Danny, I've loved all of your work since I was a teen devouring the music press in the 90s and beyond. I send love to you and your family as a stranger from Lancashire whose life you've touched in a very profound way.
@malstar79@BRFC1875_ The deal was all agreed though. Undav chose to stay and prove he was PL quality. He got some games, did well and got a move to Germany. Now he's an international footballer and scoring goals. We can absolutely beat this boardroom for so many things, but this isn't the reason to.
@gojohnniegogo Dreadfully poor on the ball and panicked in defence. Constantly putting the ball out of play or letting the opposition cleverly buy fouls off of us, so we just slowly bled out to defeat. The definition of abject.
Even the players we've got high on at times this season aren't actually that good. Toth, Alebiosu, Gudjohnsen, Cashin etc. Things look very bleak, with only one outcome seemingly likely going off the last 3 matches #Rovers
@roversrovers He's a "run in behind" striker but we're launching hopeful balls up to him, asking him to somehow win up against big aerially dominant championship defenders. It's not his game at all. He got the correct service in one game and scored 2 goals.
