Never underestimate the power of community. Those who pick your calls and cry with you, then uplift you, those who mention your names in good rooms...
"strangers"
When you go through the interactions on Morara Kebaso's timeline. It is very clear, William Ruto isn't the problem. Politicians are not the problem. Kenyans enabling political corruption is the problem.
Luo Nyanza never voted for the Sugoi Butcher, it's us who are actually fighting this regime now. Our luo brothers went to the streets to fight this kakistocratic regime, but we cancelled them out & profiled them. Despite that, they still showed up & supported the movement in march to parliament. If they choose not to protest let them be, they don't owe anyone an explanation. After all, majority of us never supported them when they were protesting against police brutality bcoz we felt that the govt was "ours". We are slowly getting away from that juvenile mentality of Tuko ndani ya serkali, one day we will meet at the center & speak in one language as Kenyans not as Kikuyu, Kalenjin, Luo or mijikenda. When the Elites are united, we are always left scrambling for the left overs as Kenyans. I believe one day we shall finish what we started once we realize that the biggest problem in this country is not me & my neighbor Otis, but it's always Raila Odinga & his brother William Ruto together with all the political class. Much love to my Luo brothers, Mimi sita laumu mtu, I made this bed, lemme lie on it peaceful as I eat my unripened mango.๐๐ฐ๐ช๐ฐ๐ช
Kenya's spending problem
"...bureaucrats splash[ed] billions...on finest furniture & fittings to make their offices comfortable, at the expense of overburdened taxpayers...[In FY 23/24] alone, govt institutions spent at least KES 1B on furniture & renovation of offices"
