Namibian President arrives ahead of SA–Namibia talks in Pretoria
Pretoria – President of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, has arrived in South Africa ahead of the fourth session of the South Africa–Namibia Binational Commission.
President Cyril Ramaphosa and President Nandi-Ndaitwah will co-chair the high-level talks on Friday, 17 July 2026, at the DIRCO Conference Centre in Pretoria.
The BNC is expected to focus on deepening cooperation in trade, energy and regional security between the two neighbouring countries.

The online retail giant Amazon officially launched its South African retail marketplace in 2024, offering millions of products from both international and local brands, further contributing to employment.
It expanded its footprint far beyond its long-standing cloud computing presence in the country to provide competitive e-commerce, next-day delivery, as well as prime subscriptions

Ordinarily the city will charge “bulk services fees” for every development which will include water infrastructure fee. Unfortunately, where the developers doesn’t undertake such developments on their own which others do with City approvals, the money gets to be paid over to the city and may not actually go back to improve the infrastructure in that same location as the development. We all know that municipalities don’t have enough funding therefore we end up having these developments not being followed by the related infrastructure developments necessary to support them.
