Founders, invest in quality design because it's a high signal for trust.
Oftentimes, there are arguments that users irrationally equate good UI with backend security. The truth is, users do not wholly assume that aesthetic quality guarantees server security. Instead, they use a rational heuristic: attention to detail is rarely isolated. Teams that cut corners visibly tend to cut corners invisibly. Teams that demonstrate rigour publicly are more likely to apply it privately. This correlation is statistically reasonable, even if imperfect.
In a restaurant, customers cannot inspect the kitchen or audit food safety. Consequently, they judge operational standards by accessible proxies, such as the condition of the facilities, the menu design, and staff presentation. In high-stakes sectors like AI, crypto and fintech, information asymmetry prevents users from evaluating security protocols directly. Design acts as the primary evidence of technical competence.
This behaviour is not irrational; it is a mechanism for gauging risk. Founders should view design not just as aesthetics, but as the primary lever for communicating trust.
Picked up motion design last year after seeing how powerful it is for brand identity.
I’ve grown in real, measurable ways. Proof that you can learn anything you set your mind to.
To creatives: keep upskilling.
In motion. 🚀
Understanding the problem, empathizing with the client, and connecting design to business goals, audience behavior, and real outcomes.
Recent projects reminded me why growth matters.
Here’s to learning, refining, and delivering better work 🚀
Remember that beautiful robot I created in my first 2 weeks of learning 3D design? I figured it deserved its own brand. Here’s the logo animation for Vetra.
Full case study drops tomorrow.
What I Don’t Do as a Designer:
🩷 I don’t design without strategy; visuals need direction.
🩷 I don’t just make it look nice; every choice has a purpose.
🩷 I don’t rush the process; excellence requires intention.
🩷 I don’t compromise clarity for trends.
