Ehlers is THE dude that will get the Canes over the hump
Ehlers was so under appreciated in Winnipeg. Ehlers is a bonafide 1st liner/playmaker but was stuck on the 2nd line in Winnipeg due to Winnipeg’s loyalty to their top line guys. Which ultimately costs the Jets every year
@CLT_Sportsfan It was a terrible signing right from the jump. A Hail Mary type pivot from Milton to Turd while giving Wharton legitimate money that I’m sure no other team was willing to come close to paying him
"He definitely called and asked me about Sam."
Panthers GM Dan Morgan said he was a sounding board for Seahawks GM John Schneider prior to signing Sam Darnold last year.
As for Darnold's revival, Morgan added, "Everybody is so impatient, including with our guy (Bryce Young)."
Miami (Ohio) linebacker Jackson Kuwatch had the fastest 10-yard split in the entire MockDraftable database 😳
“He’s so incredibly quick between the tackles. A 1.5 10-yard split on a 4.64 is a wild combination… he can move, he can cover... he’s borderline top 100.”
@PanthersAnalyst If their strategy was to close the gap between their next 2 picks in hoping of coming away with 2 of those top 4 names then kudos to them if they pull it off
@PanthersAnalyst Pickens has elite athleticism. Brazzell isn’t on Pickens level (only a few in the league are) however CB does possess similar traits and size
Brazzell’s fluidity, body control and athleticism immediately jump out on the screen
@threesandtds24 I don’t dislike Hunter the player. My only issue is drafting a NT in the 2nd round isn’t great value
Over the years I’ve learnt to let the whole draft play out first though. Brazzell should’ve gone in the 2nd round imo. So to get him in the 3rd evens that out a bit
Why I’m over 30 spots higher on Chris Brazzell than the consensus:
• Advanced route runner for his size
• Vertical and intermediate separator
• Natural hands catcher
• Physical at the catch point
• Strong downfield tracking
Statistically he compiled:
📌 1,006 Receiving Yards
📌 9 Receiving TDs
📌 135.1 Passer Rating (when targeted)
📌 2.57 Yards per route run
📌 16.5 Yards per reception
Overall:
A polished, well-rounded receiver who consistently creates separation and finishes plays. The production matches the tape, and his skill set translates cleanly to the next level. Day 1 caliber talent that I believe is being significantly undervalued.
@thaRBW It’ll all stems from their dislike for Bryce and continue to look for ways to bring him down
From “how much help does he need” to “offense in round 1 again”
Yet the facts tell a different story they’re just too blind to see because it doesn’t fit their narrative
