Osayi Lawrence Lawson is the son of Lawrence Anini, the notorious 1980s armed robber who terrorized Old Bendel State.

He went public in a 2019 video to address years of people pointing him out as "Anini's son" and to correct Nollywood depictions of his father. He said he is not hiding his identity and is proud of his father, while stating he is not responsible for his father's crimes
