@BaileyXPaige The other thing that bugged me is that unlike most of the examples I gave, no adult in Parasite was likeable. The gullible mom was the closest exception. Everyone else was relatively despicable. It made me not care if they succeeded or not.

@BaileyXPaige I got all that and I've been there, too. I just didn't get the hype. I've seen a million films about poverty and class struggles. Slumdog, Pursuit of Happiness, Roma, Elysium, Norma Rae, even something like Sorry to Bother You. And I thought they were all better than Parasite.
