12 AND 13 YEAR OLD FOUND DECEASED IN DOWNTOWN APARTMENT IDENTIFIED
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is still investigating the shooting deaths of two children, ages 12 and 14 were found shot to death.
Paris Harvey, 12, shot her cousin, Kuaron Harvey, 14, at the Cupples Station Loft Apartments in the 1000 block of Spruce Street, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police said.
The childrens' family is calling the shooting accidental. The two were at a family party at a bed and breaktast rental when the incident happened. The two went into the bathroom, went live on Instagram and started playing with a gun.
"Everybody was getting together to celebrate, and so the younger kids, they got a bed and breakfast," Paris' mom said.
"They were making a video, and (Paris) was playing with the gun, but it went off and hit him. She dropped the gun, and it fell, and it went off to my knowledge. And then when she picked it up, she picked it up by the barrel and it went off.
That's all I know ... It was not a suicide. It was just a freak accident."

Family members say they don't know who the gun belonged to or how they got it. It is unclear if there was an adult at the party at the time of the shooting.
The investigators are still probing the shooting at this time.
