3. Their team went to the grass field behind the visitor stands for halftime - and the players had to use the brick wall along Congress Ave bc no restroom facilities

Had the pleasure of talking with a football family from Staley this weekend. They recently played against @PHSPantherFB.
1. They went to PHS initially thinking the game would be there
2. They could smell the port-a-potty’s throughout the northern third of the visiting bleachers

PHSD has 2 teams hosting district football games next week. As the only district that now shares a stadium, one of those games will have to be on Saturday. South Friday night. Park Hill Saturday. The Time is Now to fix our district academic and athletic facilities.

And here it is. Your newly remodeled Park Hill High weight room. No, none of these are before pictures. all “after” pictures. No AC still. District survey showed 58% of respondents think facilities are a priority. Elementary parents don’t know how bad it is. @ParkHillSchools

Missing from this survey - “Do you want Park Hill Schools to build another elementary school”?? They forgot to ask us about that - and they already bought the land. #FixParkHillHighSchool

The @ParkHillSchools did a recent phone survey in the district. Did any of you participate in this survey? Who answers their phone these days??!! A couple key results that support our effort. “Athletic Facilities comparable to neighboring districts” - 58% yes.

I suspect that many of the respondents have never seen how bad the Park Hill high facilities are compared to our neighboring districts.

I mispoke - 58% said “updating facilities for athletic activities”. 66% said “having facilities that are competitive to neighboring school districts”.

75% - upgrade performing arts facilities. Yes!! We are way behind in this category too! #thetimeisnow

The facility employees at the schools are doing a great job. They work hard to take care of these rundown buildings. We appreciate all the work they do…and we’d love to help them do their awesome work in some modern buildings
