🇮🇳The brutality and propaganda tactics of the Modi government and Delhi Police know no limits. Here is a list of everything they have done so far to crack down on the student protest.

- Using facial recognition systems to identify protesters in real time and to trace protesters after they return home
- Threatening students with passport cancellation and the loss of their right to travel abroad

- Blocking people from bringing water into the protest area

- Cutting off mobile internet around Jantar Mantar to disrupt communication and prevent live documentation

- Visiting and threatening the homes of people supplying water to protesters

- Restricting food supplies from reaching the protest site

- Blocking Zomato and Swiggy deliveries inside the protest zone

- Pressuring nearby restaurants and shops to stop accepting food orders for protesters

- Stopping delivery riders on the road and confiscating food meant for protesters

- Firing tear gas into protest crowds

- Using water cannons against students

- Using shock batons and stun guns against protesters

- Using lathis fitted with nails or metal spikes

- Using pellet guns that are causing facial, neck, body, and eye injuries

- Beating minors, seated students, and apparently nonviolent protesters

- Continuing to deny pellet gun use despite injured protesters, journalists, and medical documentation

- Bringing in a truck loaded with stones to remain near the protest area before the major march (allegedly)

- Bringing already damaged car to the protest site to create a narrative (allegedly)

- Inserting plainclothes personnel, goons, or provocateurs into the crowd

- Creating or allowing violent incidents that can be used to justify a harsher crackdown

- Using isolated incidents of violence to portray the entire student movement as dangerous

- Making Delhi University and JNU issue warnings asking students and faculty to stay away from Jantar Mantar

- Having Delhi University warn students that participation could damage their academic progress and professional opportunities

- Pressuring IIT Roorkee students to avoid the protest through warnings about academic consequences

- Pressuring IIT Madras students to remove protest related videos

- Using universities and academic institutions to force students into self censorship

- Pressuring coaching centres and educational networks to distance toppers and serious aspirants from the movement

- Trying to create the impression that genuine and meritorious students reject the protest

- Restricting or blocking the official CJP Instagram account in India

- Restricting accounts that are sharing raw protest footage

- Creating fear around posting videos, joining groups, or publicly supporting protesters

- Flooding the media with claims that the protest is Pakistan sponsored

- Labelling the movement ISI backed, Chinese linked, foreign funded, Soros controlled, deep state driven, and anti national

- Shifting attention away from NEET paper leaks, government failure, and demands for accountability

- Using national security propaganda to justify force, surveillance, detentions, and restrictions

- Using government aligned media to portray protesting students as enemies of the country

- Coordinating influencers and content creators to publish identical anti protest narratives

- Manufacturing fake public consensus through repeated captions and talking points

- Releasing official denials while videos, medical reports, screenshots, and witness accounts continue appearing

- Calling evidence and eyewitness accounts misinformation instead of allowing an independent investigation

- Closing shops around Connaught Place and nearby protest areas

- Shutting down or restricting Metro stations including Rajiv Chowk and Patel Chowk

- Stopping students travelling by autos and rickshaws before they reach the protest

- Picking up students while they are travelling to or returning from Jantar Mantar

- Detaining students without clearly stating what offence they have committed

- Collecting faces, names, fingerprints, phone data, and personal information for later action

- Visiting homes and picking up students from their residences

- Filing FIRs against unidentified people so individual names can be added later

- Keeping FIRs open as long term leverage against students and young professionals

- Threatening students with visa problems and difficulties pursuing education overseas

- Threatening students with failed police verification for government and private jobs

- Threatening students with blacklisting and permanent career damage

- Threatening students with preventive detention under the NSA (Upto 12 months with no bail)

- Using the renewal of NSA powers to create fear while claiming the timing is unrelated to the protest

- Deploying Delhi Police, RAF, CRPF, ITBP, and other paramilitary forces against students

- Bringing forces normally associated with borders and national security into central Delhi

- Moving twenty additional CRPF companies from West Bengal

- Turning central Delhi into a heavily barricaded security zone

- Carrying out heavy lathi charges against protesters
