In 143 years of cricket history, Imran Khan is the only captain to declare an innings with his individual score in the 90s. It was the first Test match of Sri Lanka's tour of Pakistan in Sialkot.

Sri Lanka was bundled out for 270 in their first innings. In reply, Pakistani batters piled on the misery and were 423/5 when Imran Khan decided to declare to give Pakistan enough time to ball out the visitors. It came as a surprise to many as Khan was batting on 93 at the moment and could have reached his century very easily.

Pakistan’s former Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI is being kept in unspeakable conditions in jail. A jail in which the most popular leader of Pakistan does not belong.
In solitary confinement, his jail cell is so small as to ensure the bed is placed next to toilet bowl, with no basic hygiene standard nor showering facilities. The man who stood on principle for the entire Muslim Ummah, is being denied a translation of the copy of the Holy Quran in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
He has no access to a doctor.
Imran Khan is being denied his legal and constitutional rights as per the laws of Pakistan.
But he will never break.

After long flights and hours of transit before reaching Sri Lanka, I got the shock of my life when I watched PCB’s short clip on the history of Pakistan cricket minus the great Imran Khan… political differences apart but Imran Khan is an icon of world cricket and developed Pakistan into a strong unit in his time and gave us a pathway… PCB should delete the video and apologise.
