If you lead a nonprofit rooted in Wards 7 or 8, I encourage you to learn more about CELAP.
This program is one of the ways we are investing directly in the strength, sustainability, and leadership of organizations serving our communities.
Cohort 3 is officially open!
As we welcome 2026, we’re filled with gratitude. 💙
Thank you to our donors, partners & families for making healing, creativity & hope possible in 2025.
We step into the new year believing in brighter futures for our children and communities. ✨
I’m grateful for Tracy’s life, the extra time with Ronnie, my mom & sister Danielle, and for the community & faith that carried me.
The TraRon Center is how I turned pain into possibility—and how healing continues. 💛
Dec 3, 1993 changed my life forever. My sister Tracy & her unborn baby were killed, and my mother & siblings were shot. 32 yrs later, grief still teaches me how to live without her while carrying her in my heart.
This #GiveTuesday, help us continue being a safe place for children impacted by gun violence in DC. For 8 years, The TraRon Center has used art, mentorship & community to help our kids heal and rise. Your support keeps that work alive. 💛
Leadership isn’t about recognition—it’s about responsibility.
“If no one knew your name or title, would your actions still reflect leadership?”
The truest form of leadership is seen in how we show up, serve, and support, even when no one’s watching.
Today we celebrate 8 years of healing + hope at The TraRon Center!
Thank you to the parents who trust us, and to the donors & partners who fuel this work.
Together, we continue to build pathways to healing for DC’s children and youth. ❤️🖤💛
