This woman in a random field just nailed it
She thought voting for Mark Carney would keep Canada from slamming into the wall at 100 km/h.
Instead, Carney is doing exactly what a lot of Liberal supporters feared Pierre Poilievre would do…
Carney is laying off Gov workers, doing the opposite of his campaign promises!
Remember, he’s JUST another Liberal!
He’s quietly moving to privatize major airports (Pearson, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal) and “recycle” that public capital into other ventures. Ports are already in the conversation too. Same guy who talks about “building Canada” is looking to sell off strategic public infrastructure to private investors.
At the same time, his new “AI for All” strategy is fast-tracking massive data centres while environmental regulations get steamrolled. Gas-powered centres are now on the table after heavy lobbying. Water use, energy demand, and local impacts? Apparently secondary to getting shovels in the ground fast.
Here’s the part that stings:
Not all Boomers.
Not all Gen X.
And definitely not this GenXer!!
A lot of people who voted for Carney (or stayed with the Liberals) did it because they saw him as the safe, reasonable, “affable middle manager” option. The guy you can complain to who won’t gut everything.
Turns out he smiles, nods… then goes straight to the higher-ups and screws you anyway.
The good news? A lot of those same voters are waking up. They’re starting to see the privatization push, the regulatory rollbacks, and the decisions being made far away from regular Canadians. The complacency is cracking.
If this was Poilievre doing airport sell-offs and fast-tracking AI data centres while weakening environmental rules, the outrage would be nuclear.
But it’s Carney… so a lot of people stayed quiet.
That window is closing.
Watch this. Then tell me I’m wrong.

@Bret_Sears No, people living around there should not have to be disturbed constantly because of someone else’s situation. Your religion is a personal choice and you don’t get to force it on others like that.
When we raised exactly these points of the need for integration of immigrants and shared Canadian values at Parliament, @JustinTrudeau implied we were racist.
But there was nothing ever racist about expecting newcomers to embrace the values that make this country worth coming to.
Refugees like my parents understood that. They didn't come here to recreate what they fled, they came to become Canadian.
Integration isn't exclusion. It's the promise we make to everyone who comes here: this is what we stand for, and you belong in it.
Calling that bigotry, as our then PM did, was how he lost the room — and the country.
It was an excuse to avoid the hard work of nation-building as a personification of his administration: broad values based pronouncements instead of actual leadership and results.
We can do better. We have to.
@cultmtl Not likely. Stop trying to drive a wedge between to countries so intermingled. Most of us have family and friends on both sides of the border.
💥 Ben Mulroney nailed it—say it louder.
🚨 Government job postings now ban white Canadians: “BIPOC only.”—White taxpayers fund these jobs but are racially excluded.
🚨 This is taxpayer-funded racism against whites, not equity.
Liberals defend it as normal policy. It’s pure anti-white discrimination.
🚨 Disgusting. How much longer?
@Victori49569624 Hmm,
Keeping housing prices high so average people still can’t afford it, bailing out rich developers who knew the risk, while the regular folks got no help and only lost and govt housing to boot? Sounds like a liberal plan.
@johnnylightnin@mario4thenorth You sound like maga Fact is Carney is taking Canada apart right under your nose and you’re only okay with it so you can hate another party. Cutting off your nose to spite your face is foolish.
💥 🤯 💣 Mark Carney caught on hot mic telling the Croatian PM that his own MPs are just “useful for votes.”
Let that sink in!!
The same guy who needed floor crossers to steal a majority now openly admits he sees those seats as nothing more than vote machines.
❌ Not representatives
❌ Not voices for their constituents. Just bodies to raise their hands when he needs them.
❌ This is the contempt for Parliament and democracy we’ve been calling out for months.
❌ He doesn’t want a functioning House — he wants obedient props.
❌ To every Liberal MP (especially the ones who crossed over): this is what your leader actually thinks of you. You’re useful until you’re not.
Canadians are watching. And we’re done with the arrogance!!

Canadians are being reminded once again about the thin blue line: police officers run toward danger so the rest of us can run from it.
Today, an @SPVM officer made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Because he answered the call to protect others, his family will never see him come home again.
May he Rest In Peace. We must never forget the courage & sacrifice of those who serve. https://t.co/OEE0biRxTE
