@DracoDr72662439@swordscomic Also VII. Sacred Oaths has a closed 8th eye, indicating that it is actually the 8th sword and there should be another one that has 7 eyes which even the swords themselves seem to have forgotten about.
@Zackwolf97@Fabulous_Corvid @vanishlily Hoplites didn't wear any additional arm protection beyond their shield. Look at the antique depictions of them. You can see helmets, greaves, bronze or linen chest armor, swords strapped to the side and even the back straps of the shield, but the arms are always bare.
@luality@GuildWars2 I actually caught part of this live while I was doing achievements in ember bay because people were talking about you on map chat 😄
@Soul_eater_93@larianstudios D:OS2 was in early access for 1 year with the same 'WIP, only first map' model. And the game was much less ambitious and didn't have a global pandemic slowing development. I'd rather have them take their time than another Divine Divinity or pre-dlc Ego Draconis rushed ending.
@Marajango @Frozen_Statues@Ghostcrawler As a GW2 main, I agree when it comes to the "heart" quests. Those are your typical fetch/kill quests with less story but more options to complete them. The dynamic events on the other hand I think are a great way to tell the same Story to multiple people and encourage cooperation
@Marajango @Ghostcrawler Thats basically what swtor does, each class has its own story instances in addition to the main plot. Though I imagine that is pretty expensive to do. GW2 tried something similar with racial origins, but they end up funneling everyone into the same path.
@Ghostcrawler Depends a bit on how the story is told, but basically let me have some agency over my characters actions and personality. You obviously can't change the greater narrative, but there could be diverging subplots, dialogue paths or multiple ways to solve quests.
