To say "terrible" is a bad take. Optimisation? Yes. Performance? Sometimes. But also based on limitation. Everything else is shown that android surpasses ios in a lot of cases. Bigger ecosystem, better hardware, more innovative products etc. Apple still has some catching up.

Likelihood is if a company stored it as an integer, they'd need to change it's default value to a double or float, a few modifications along the code base. This should be fixed by the next stand up and sprint planning on Monday 😂

There are 2 struggles I already see.
1. If something cost R15 excl, including 15% vat it would be R17.25. when vat is at 15.5% that item will be R17.355. I don't know how businesses and accountants are going to mitigate the 3 decimal places.

The second thing is accounting software or any business software that has stored vat as an interger as "15". Intergers don't have decimal places so you can change it to "15.5". The programmers will have recode the software to mitigate this. One the of the options would be to change it to a double or float.
