He made 1.7 mill per year on his rookie deal and the Raiders resigned him to 2.5 mill per year so he only got about an 800k raise after 4 seasons. Then 1 season later he signs for 3 yr/24 mill/8 mill per year, a raise of 5.5 mill.

@mcbane89 @JoshDubowAP He made less than 5 million in 3 seasons with the Raiders but yet he just signed in the offseason with Jacksonville for 3 years/24 million. Slice it anyway you want, he got paid because of the way Carr talked him up on top of his play.
