Hi everybody!!
I'm Ahmad, and I'm beyond ecstatic to finally reveal #TheTugsProject to everyone! This project was the culmination of one years worth of talented people's hard work, who I am delighted to give the spotlight to. Meet the art, & the artists!

These shots have been a long time coming. They were shown in an unfinished state all the way back in 2021, at the end of Unlucky Tug's extensive tugs retrospective which first revealed us to the world. I crudely edited them into a 2.5D animation, posted here in full quality.
Here are 2 great photos from the filming of 'Trapped.' Many tugs can be seen with their superstructures removed and placed on shore to avoid being swamped or trampled. Billy's iconic departure back to his real work can be seen on the focus puller's monitor. #TheTUGSProject ⚓️💙
These storage room photos with all the models are always some of our favorites. The vibes are simply impeccable. These particular shots feature a clear look at that mysterious white pilot boat.
High resolution files are available in our #TheTUGSProject drive folder ⚓️💙
Hey everyone, just wanted to give some insight as to where on earth we've been. Long story short, we needed a break. But it's plain to see that way too much time has passed without any communication. So here's the deal:
We took a break, and I think everyone can agree it's gotten way out of control and gone on long enough.
Our lives are now very different, and things won't be quite the same, but we are back to finish what we started.

Spooky season is here! What better way to start the month than with the grim reapers Burke and Blair!
We recently unearthed this incredibly rare Japanese postcard from QUARANTINE, and we just had to share it with all of you. What are your Halloween plans?
#TheTUGSProject 🎃👻
Of course for preservation sake, here is the restored postcard without the creative liberties at the bottom. Special thanks to @SodorMail1992 for helping locate this very special piece! You can read the context of the scene here in both English and Japanese, courtesy of Waku!
Several scans were done in different directions to bounce the light reflections in spots where patching was possible, since the damage prevented the card from being totally flat without a ton of weight on top. We're pleased with how this turned out in the end!
This was taken from a very rare post card included with a copy of the Japanese High Winds VHS. The piece was in poor condition upon receiving, resulting in both physical and digital treatment solutions to remedy the rips and creases.
Here's a new kind of post, as today's picture is a promotional still- albeit from a deleted scene!
This is the Coast Guard praising Zebedee to Captain Zero in helping with the arrest of Johnny Cuba in "HIGH WINDS". Previously only one angle from this scene existed in the book.
There are only more chapters to this never ending story, but tonight is the sizzle reel, here in it's glory.
