fighting against tyranny isn’t nothing new. our Gurus fought the same fight and fearlessly stood for truth.
we’ve gone through worse and will continue to do so. but with a royal bloodline and just a leak of light, our shadows will always stay with us.
Warrior Mentality (2021)
With Sikhs seen at the forefront of #FarmersProtest, there is a huge influx in anti-Sikh commentary — some of it spreading quite far — calling, in essence, for a repeat of the 1984 Sikh Genocide staged by the Indian State in Delhi.

The sikh community displays a weird sense of ‘solidarity’.
They will spend a large amount of their time dismissing the Sikh identity, but then feel ‘enlightened’ enough to stand up for the same identity when its attacked by others.
Anything for a bunch of likes and retweets.
Like and retweets don’t mean anything.
Sikhs can show meaningful solidarity by taking up the same identity, which they themselves, have turned their backs on.
So turban wearing sikhs don’t feel so out of place and prone to abuse in the first place.
Sad to see any child being assaulted, but even more disheartening that their articles of faith are violated & mocked. Swift action required by @charlton_school alongside the assault being reported to the police. @lucyallan @telfordcops @TelfordWrekin@SikhPA#AntiBullyingWeek

Blessed to record Zafaranamah 1st time in the history. I tried to perform it in the best possible way with the assistance of The Embassy of Iran. During this hard time sending you the message of “High-Spirit” ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ-ਕਲਾ #HappyBaisakhi
Mohinder Singh &his son transported somewhere between 60-80 of their Muslim neighbours to a safe location. "I did not see Hindu or Muslim. I just saw people. I saw little children. I felt like they were my children & that nothing should happen to them."

It's been years in the making -- and I've dreamed of this moment since childhood.
Baljinder Kaur and I are excited to share "Fauja Singh Keeps Going," the first-ever children's book from a major publisher to center a Sikh story!
