@scatrcciosgrrrl There's four books in the series technically. They cover the story that basically says a bunch of stuff about people having Shine, the folks who hunt the Shining, ect. Pretty much what the last episode set up. Like the book, Carrie is on the run from dangerous people.
Let’s run it back! Who needs a Starter Kit? 🔥

@Manny4p In the four major books that reference Carrie as canon, they refer to the destruction of the town she caused on the same level as 9/11 in terms of national tragedy and mass destruction.
Eleven is cool, but like...in Season 5 we just saw her jump a lot and nothing much else.
@Carlguy24 I think what's interesting is even if it IS legal, if you have to calculate someone's age down to the second to justify having sexual contact with them in a dynamic you express is "dangerous" for you then yeah something's weird about that.
As a comedian I think the issue much more so the media craze to amplify a story and milk it for as much as possible.
Just look at the replies to articles like this. It's 50/50 just people going "Women are whores." and "Men are Rapist."
It's not even about the joke anymore.
#SNL alum Dana Carvey "didn't understand the kerfuffle" over Shane Gillis' monologue.
"I just saw it as what we call — I’ll just say it — a joke," Carvey said. “Like, when you say jokes, you’re not literally saying women are whores. You are literally joking. Isn’t that kind of the idea? No? Did I just get canceled?” https://t.co/W3cE4Lr5je
