Looks like Habs are not interested in Michkov and moving up could help them avoid a situation where he drops to 5 and they feel pressure to take him with the risk involved. Not my opinion, just what I am hearing.

At some point there needs to be drastic changes made to the disciplinary process. Players have no idea what constitutes fair play, there seems to be different standards depending on what your name is, and it sucks for fans to watch

If there’s even a snowballs chance to get Michkov, whether that be at 9 or by moving up to 4-6, Detroit just has to take it. I don’t care that he won’t be here until 2026. Nobody besides Bedard (and maybe Fantilli) has as much potential to be a top 10 player in the league
