Israel’s military reports that 2,347 Israelis have been killed across multiple war fronts since the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack. Of these, 1,318 were military and intelligence personnel. A further 87,286 Israelis have been wounded or injured.
Remember them. And make sure the world remembers.
Show their faces. Tell their stories. Change your cover photos to ones that honor their memory. Amplify the voices of the survivors and of those whose families were shattered by unimaginable brutality and loss. Let those taken from us on Oct 7 and in the war that followed hear us in the heavens….
We miss you. We love you. We will never forget you. We will never let the world forget what horrors befell you, and we will never let it happen again.
“Today, three years later, an entire nation bows its head and mourns. We remember the civilians who were murdered in their homes, the young women and men who went out to dance and did not return, those who were abducted and murdered in captivity, the combat troops and soldiers who fell, the members of the security forces, the community security and rescue teams, who went into the inferno and fell in battle. We stand alongside the wounded and those harmed by the war, and embrace the bereaved families.”
— IDF Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, marking three years since the October 7 Massacre.
🚨 THE ABSURDITY OF WARNING JEWS ABROAD ON OCT 7
Ahead of October 7, Israel’s National Security Council is warning Israelis and Jews overseas to:
• Don’t speak Hebrew openly in some countries
• Don’t post where you’re going
• Don’t reveal military service
• Stay away from demonstrations
• Avoid entire countries altogether
Think about how insane that is.
Three years after Israelis were massacred, raped and kidnapped, the security advice is now effectively: hide who you are so you don’t become the next target.
That is not normal.
That is what happens when antisemitic and jihadist threats are allowed to become part of everyday life.
Patrick Clancy talks about the final days with his 8-month-old son, Callan.
“I really thought there was a chance that Callan would live,” he tells 60 Minutes. “And remember just thinking, ‘Just gimme one. Just gimme one kid,’ and I would raise him as best I could, and I would give him the best life I possibly could. I'd tell him about his brother and sister. And I was holdin' out hope for that. And then when I got to the hospital, I saw the doctor. I saw the look on her face, and I knew that it wasn't going to be a good prognosis.” https://t.co/tWfbTOkCXY
Started from 0 on all platforms. Knew no one. Was open about my marriage and kids from the start and went against the grain of idol culture. I may not be everyone's cup of tea but I am me.
It's possible to start from nothing with no help or handouts and reach your dreams. Don't give up 💜
In the aftermath of the death of Patrick Clancy’s children, many found it inconceivable that he would forgive his wife, Lindsay Clancy.
On 60 Minutes, Patrick tells 60 Minutes that Lindsay never asked for his forgiveness after killing their three children.
“I think when it comes to forgiveness, I also felt that if I didn't get there, I would be eaten up inside forever,” he says.
I'm sorry we never got a chance to meet, but getting this note from Dolly really had a an impact on me. She definitely didn't have to take the time to do it. Even for a kid who mostly listened to rap music, she was an icon. A superstar in every sense. Rest easy Dolly. And thank you for the kind words.
