It's really funny that we're suddenly in the backwards future where, to promote your new He-Man movie, you have to go into the criterion closet and talk about Paolo Sorrentino films

@Detect1veMarvel@WorldOfAntoine@comicsexplained I would consider the threads of the FBI were started in the main volume, progressed into Galacta in this volume, and just kind of end?
Eegun's demons are a continuation of his imprisonment in the previous volume & the AoR mini. Like it's all connected and fizzles in one page.
@WorldOfAntoine@Detect1veMarvel@comicsexplained I don't disagree at all. It's my main issue with Marvel at this point these 5 issues were overstuffed. I know he had threads to tie up from the previous volume, but those don't even get tied. Should've been more focused, even if the mini was thought of as the first arc of a run.
@Detect1veMarvel@comicsexplained I think both can be true. Marvel’s communication on what is an ongoing with their creatives is trash. But also, as a creative, maybe don’t setup 5 different plot points for your book when Marvel I known to cut things early. Understand the sandbox you’re playing in.
@Detect1veMarvel@comicsexplained I mean, similar things happen with Planet She-Hulk. The creative team was sideswiped with the cancellation announcement and needed to do a hard pivot for the last issue.
@Detect1veMarvel@comicsexplained Less than a week later, he’s saying it’s only 5 issues. Like wtf is an ongoing in Marvel’s eyes? Is it still considered an ongoing even if it’s only greenlit for 5? What are we doing? What’s going on here?
