@DiscussingFilm I grew up in Miami. I Watched the premiere live. They filmed near my house once. Here’s the deal. Tubbs can’t be played by a huge star like MBJ. He can’t overshadow Crockett. That’s not how the show was. Crockett represented the new flashy cop. Tubbs was old school & reserved

@DiscussingFilm A movie like this would’ve been box office gold many many years ago. Actors don’t stay mysterious anymore. They are overexposed. To many opinions fly from their mouths.
I use to go to the movies 10-15 times a year or more. I’ve been to the theater 5 times in 3 years.
